Parx Sportsbook
With a partner in tow, Parx Casino is now set to get going on their Pennsylvania sports betting operations. Set to partner with Kambi, a European-based company, we can expect them to be running the sportsbook at Parx and the South Philly Turf Club.

While this is an official confirmation, there have been reports in the past of this partnership dating back to August when Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment filed with the PA Gaming Control Board.

Greenwood CTO John Dixon commented on Kambi in a press release earlier this week, saying:

“We are excited to be working with an experienced, successful sportsbook partner that can bring best-in-class systems and odds making to the Parx-branded sports betting products. We are confident in their systems to provide timely, secure and accurate wagering opportunities across many sports both pre-game and in-game.”

In addition to Kambi, Parx will also team up with GAN for technological purposes.

With the Kambi partnership that is still pending a decision from regulators, this opens up a bunch of new opportunities for Greenwood, such as renovating the Turf Club in Philadelphia, which will host a sportsbook in 2019. In addition to Pennsylvania, there is also some rumblings of a possible NJ Sportsbooks connection for Greenwood as well.

Kambi has an extensive portfolio with US-based companies, also being the supplier for DraftKings, SugarHouse and 888 Sport. However, this will be the first brick-and-mortar partnership for Kambi, as all the others are mobile.

Kambi CEO Kristian Nylén had great things to say about the partnership:

“Greenwood Gaming represents yet another exciting partnership for Kambi, as we continue to establish ourselves as the premier choice for operators looking to enter the U.S. sports wagering market with a quality product and trusted partner.”

With this partnership, expect to see plenty of terminals throughout the casinos with Kambi branding to be used by customers at the casino.
