PA Sportsbooks Our first look at some “real” PA sports betting revenue for December 2018 has been reported by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Before we jump into the sports gambling revenue and taxes paid data, let’s remember that the sportsbooks at Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh and SugarHouse in Philadelphia opened on December 13th. Our point, this is roughly a 1/2 month of sports betting handle/revenue metrics.

We should also note that the Parx Casino Sportsbook opened on January 8th and will be included in next month’s revenue report. Will the Parx Sportsbook “Bet Slip” impact revenue? The Turf Club in South Philly which opened this week will be included in the next revenue report as well.
