After an embarrassing Week 6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, Howie Roseman, Doug Pederson, and company will be looking at ways to get back on track before a massive game in Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys, in a battle for first place in the NFC East.
This also means the middle of the NFL season is nearing, and futures bets can be re-evaluated after injuries, learning about this year’s teams, and more.
Let’s take a look at the market for the Philadelphia Eagles Futures Odds, as they currently sit 3-3 after six weeks of play.
Super Bowl & NFC Futures Odds
- The Eagles are +1600 to win the Super Bowl, the sixth-best odds at FanDuel Sportsbook.
- Philadelphia is +900 to win the NFC Championship, the fourth-best odds on FanDuel Sportsbook, behind the Saints, Packers, and 49ers. They are tied with the Seattle Seahawks.
- To win the NFC East, the Eagles are currently -130 with the Dallas Cowboys at +110. Week 7’s game will be key for this market.
Back in August, the Eagles were +1300 to win the Super Bowl, via SugarHouse. They were also +550 to win the NFC Championship, and -106 to win the NFC East.
Eagles Player Specific Futures Bets
Carson Wentz opened the season at +1400 to win the MVP at SugarHouse, but is currently +2600 to win the MVP on FanDuel Sportsbook. He is eighth behind Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, Christian McCaffrey, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Lamar Jackson.
Miles Sanders opened the season at +1400 to win Offensive Rookie of the Year on SugarHouse, but is now +2600 to win on FanDuel Sportsbook. He is ninth on the list, with Kyler Murray (+130) being the overwhelming favorite. While Sanders has been good in limited action as a receiver, he is a not a likely candidate for rookie of the year with Murray, Josh Jacobs, Gardner Minshew, Daniel Jones, Terry McLaurin and others having terrific rookie campaigns.
On FanDuel Sportsbook, Miles Sanders is +8000 to lead the NFL in rushing, whereas Jordan Howard is +10000 for the same feat. Neither have a chance to lead the NFL in rushing, realistically.
Zach Ertz is +6000 to lead the NFL in receiving, with DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery both at +10000.
