The single-most important piece of news in Philadelphia sports is without a doubt focused around Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz. Will Wentz be traded? Reports during Super Bowl week indicated that a trade was imminent, but as of the week after the big game, Wentz was still an Eagles player.
With that said, you can wager on which team Carson Wentz will take his next step at FanDuel Sportsbook, where the Colts and Bears are the favorites. Let’s take a look at the odds and possibilities for Wentz.

Carson Wentz to the Colts? FanDuel Has +125 Odds
As soon as the rumors started to fly about Carson Wentz wanting out of Philadelphia, the first team that came to mind was of course the Indianapolis Colts. There are many reasons why Wentz is a fit in Indianapolis, but the main ones are focused around current Colts coach Frank Reich, who is heavily-credited with Wentz’ rise to stardom in 2017 for the Eagles. In addition, with Philip Rivers’ retirement, the Colts are certainly looking for a quarterback.
Indianapolis is a terrific fit for Wentz, given their top-tier offensive line, a great running game, and some talented receivers around him. There are rumors that if Wentz is dealt to Indianapolis, Zach Ertz could come with him and form another QB/TE tandem in the AFC.
Will the Chicago Bears Trade for Carson Wentz?
The most powerful rumors in terms of sports media has come from Chicago, where there was even reports that a trade was all but done. This was the rumored trade, late last week from Natalie Egenolf.
Name I’m hearing is Tarik Cohen, a first rounder and yes world, Nick Foles. https://t.co/dEsK5N8oV8

Tarik Cohen quickly shot the rumors down on Twitter, but someone is obviously leaking information somewhere. Assuming the interest is real for the Bears, Wentz would join a familiar face in John DeFilippo in Chicago as the passing game coordinator. Coach “Flip” was the other voice after Frank Reich that has gotten a ton of credit for Wentz’ development.
If Wentz is dealt to Chicago, that means that Mitch Trubisky will not be back as the Bears’ starting quarterback and the Colts could still be looking for their starter. If you have a strong take on who will trade for Carson Wentz, be sure to wager on this fun betting prop available at FanDuel Sportsbook.
Other potential landing spots for Wentz includes the Houston Texans amidst the Deshaun Watson issues, Washington Football Team, and Denver Broncos. The Broncos certainly make sense given John Elway’s history with large quarterbacks, but Drew Lock is the starter and has some time left on his contract in Denver.
